Discovery Day is open to everyone, even if you don’t know any players!

Where? At the Duché de Bicolline, 1480 ch. principal in Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, Quebec
Who is it for? Families, friends, and curious people of all ages.
2025 prices
- Children (ages 10–15): $30 + taxes
- Children (ages 0–9): Free
No costume rentals available on site.
Included in the ticket:
- Access to the site and medieval market from 9 a.m. to midnight.
- Entertainment, shows, walkabouts
- Fight viewing area (secured)
Costumes are mandatory (tips are provided below). Admission may be refused if decorum is not observed.

Time Activity
9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Welcome
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. Walks, entertainment, shops, food on site
11:00 p.m. – Midnight. End of the day and departure
If you are lost or need assistance, Bicolline volunteers (dressed in yellow and blue) will be available throughout the field. There is also a permanent presence at the welcome office.
About the costume requirement:
At Bicolline, medieval/fantasy-inspired costumes are required: they are key to immersing yourself in the world and respecting the setting. No need for a complex costume!
A simple tunic or linen dress with a belt will suffice.
Accepted styles: medieval, Renaissance, pirate, fantasy (e.g., Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Vikings)
Items to avoid at all costs:
- Jeans, T-shirts, visible modern clothing
- Running shoes (leather, sandals, or neutral boots are preferred)
- Watches, sunglasses (except for medical reasons), visible phones, and electronic gadgets
- Modern bags, cans, plastic bottles
Tips:
Bring a cup or mug to avoid modern containers
Bring your own utensils
Camouflage strollers with a simple cloth
Look online for inspiration to come up with a low-budget costume!
