May is synonymous with the blossoming of campaigns on the lands of the Duché de Bicolline.
May also means the opening of registration for the Grande Bataille, and we’re already looking forward to it.
Grande Bataille 2024
NEW SITE ACCESS AND RECEPTION TIMES FOR THE GRANDE BATAILLE
This year’s site access hours (registration/registration and drop-off) have been modified to better reflect actual site traffic.
The arrival of new participants wishing to drop in to confirm their registration will take place exclusively during the following time slots, and shuttles serving the parking lots will also be available at these times:
Friday August 9 (early arrival): 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 10 (early arrival): 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, August 11: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Monday, August 12: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Tuesday, August 13: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Wednesday, August 14: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Thursday, August 15: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Friday, August 16: 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Saturday, August 17: Reception and landing closed, shuttle service to parking lots from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Sunday, August 18: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
DECORUM TENTS, TINY HOUSES AND TRAILERS / MOTORHOMES
If you’d like to set up a decorum tent or mini-home on the site, don’t forget to contact the placement team to reserve a site: urbanisme@bicolline.org (mailto:urbanisme@bicolline.org).
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that trailers, motorhomes, vans, etc. are not permitted on the Duché de Bicolline site, including in the parking lots.
Several individuals, companies and organizations offer this service in St-Mathieu-du-Parc and the surrounding area.

Every year, the Duché de Bicolline needs passionate, committed people to join the team of volunteers at the Grande Bataille de Bicolline.

We are actively recruiting for the following positions:
Homologation Team Leader (volunteer position) : Our Combat coordinator, Yan Robert, is always on the lookout for someone to join the team managing homologation at the Grande Bataille.
Please note that there will be two Homologation Team Leaders in order to better distribute the work and schedules.

Reminders to Grantees
To our invaluable grantees, we have a few points to remind you:
To dispose of your household waste, please kindly use the waste container reserved for this purpose in parking lot P1.
You may not leave your car on the site; you must move it to parking lot P1 (or your personal parking lot) after unloading your equipment.
Tents may not be erected during allotments.
We remind you of the special allotment schedule for July 12 & 26: Friday 6pm to Sunday 2pm.
We’ve brought back the “comments” item in the Cessions registrations, so please enter the names of your expected guests, as well as the number of your allotment.
*The Saint-Mathieu ecocenter is open every Saturday from May 25 if you have wood, furniture, scrap metal or other recyclable materials to dispose of (750 Chem. des Ancêtres, Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC G0X 1N0).

If you’re a skilled scribe with a passion for epic tales and bewitching legends, then this could be the opportunity for you. Qualifications required:
Impeccable command of the people’s language, with an ability to capture the spellbinding essence of ancient times.
Proven experience in writing fantasy tales, epic stories or news articles rooted in the medieval universe.
Ability to work to spread the real news.
Unbridled creativity and imagination, able to transform ordinary facts into extraordinary stories.
Commitment to journalistic ethics and truthful reporting.
Responsibilities:
Research and write articles on current events, age-old mysteries and thrilling plots unfolding across the lands of the Hippocampe.
Interviewing famous figures, legendary heroes and enigmatic wizards to reveal their best-kept secrets.
Create regular chronicles of mythical creatures, magical artifacts and enchanted places hidden in the realm’s intricacies.
Working closely with publishers and illustrators to bring your stories to life with stunning illustrations and evocative layouts.
