GENERAL GUIDELINES
Format: Semi-rapid games, 25 minutes per player.
Reminder: Touch move.
Participants will be ranked by known skill level, then by random draw if unknown.
Subsequent rounds will follow the rules of the Swiss system.
One point for a win. ½ point for a draw.
The winner is the one with the highest total. In case of a tie, a win with the black pieces prevails over a win with the white pieces.
Tiebreak: In the event of a tie after the rounds, there will be tiebreak blitz games of 5 minutes (the winner will be the first to have 2 victories ahead).

ANNEX C – COMBAT ARCHERY
A new team combat discipline is emerging in our lands. Arrows fly from all directions. Speed, precision, and agility are crucial to stay alive until the end of each game round. It’s a unique blend of cowardice and skill, where new reputations are bound to be forged!
Your best archers will face off against their regional rivals in six-on-six skirmishes while defending their flags. These archers’ battles take place in a designated area and are organized in collaboration with the Archers’ Battles Montreal team.

Anyone aged 16 and older registered for the Battle of Bicolline can participate in the Archers’ Battles tournament.
Each team consists of 6 players.
There are 2 leagues: friendly and competitive.
Registrations take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the field to the right of the inn.
Qualifications take place on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the field to the right of the inn.
The tournament takes place on Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM for the finals.

Can you find a set of random items scattered across the Duchy of Bicolline as quickly as possible? If you answered yes, then this event is for you. You can participate individually or in teams.

At the beginning of the event, you will receive a list of items to collect and deliver to a judge at the Inn. Once you have gathered all the items on the list, you must quickly return to the Inn to hand them over to the judge. All teams must be back at the Inn before 11 am. The team that collects the most items from the list will win the prize and the honor of being the champion of Kroft’s Hunt. In case of a tie, the prize will be shared among the tied teams. All items will be returned to the players.

Kroft’s race
Are you fast, intelligent, and agile? Are you skilled with a spear, a sword, or a bow? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this event is for you. Kroft’s Race is a competition that requires you to move swiftly through the Duchy of Bicolline while completing a series of different challenges. Some are physical, others are mental, but all are fun. Each team must have a minimum of 3 players, with a maximum size of 5 players.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
Please bring the following items during registration: a spear, a sword, a bow, an arrow, a quiver, and a belt with a sword scabbard (to hold the sword). You will need to carry these items from one challenge to another during the race.
At the beginning of the race, an administrator will explain your first challenge. Once you complete it, you will receive an envelope with a map of the other challenges. You can complete the following five challenges in any order, collecting a success token each time. Once you have one token from each of the five challenges, you can return to the starting location for the final challenge.

The starting position (alternating positions) and arrows are reset after each hit.
The first archer to score two (2) hits wins the match.

In petanque, the objective is to score points by placing your balls closer to the cochonnet than your opponent.
Games are played in teams of 2, with each team having 2 balls per round.

A throw that directly touches the cochonnet immediately scores one point.

Inspired by the Elves of Irendille, they have established a competition that highlights the crucial skills of archery. Precision, quick decision-making, and swift execution are the foundations of this fixed-target tournament, offering participants an exciting challenge in a less intimidating setting than the formidable Circle of Loren. Join us in this trial where your archery skills will be put to the test, allowing your name to shine and your art of archery to soar in an unparalleled medieval symphony.

QUALIFIERS
The qualification round consists of two (2) stages: target shooting and rapid shooting.
Target Shooting:
Qualification Round
Five (5) targets of identical size will be set up at different heights and distances, identified by different colors and/or symbols.
The official will hold five (5) flags identified in the same way as the targets.
The archer must have an arrow nocked, but their bow pointed towards the ground.
Upon the archer’s signal, the official will raise a flag, and then the archer will have three (3) seconds to shoot at the corresponding target. A shot made after this time will be considered invalid, even if it hits the correct target.
The hit must be clean, with the arrowhead. If the shaft or feathers knock down the target, the hit is not valid.
The process is repeated until the competitor has made two (2) shots for each target.
The competitor accumulates one (1) point for each successful hit, with a maximum of ten (10) points.
Rapid Shooting:
A single target is placed fifteen (15) feet away from the competitor, who has fifteen (15) seconds to shoot as many arrows as possible at it, earning one (1) point per arrow that hits the target cleanly.
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Tiebreakers determined by successive shots until one archer misses a target.
The archers compete for the same targets, standing side by side on a line, with five (5) arrows each.
Five (5) targets are placed at an equal distance from both competitors.
The archers may have an arrow nocked, but their bows pointed towards the ground.

The first archer to knock down three (3) targets is declared the winner.
If neither archer has hit three (3) targets after shooting all their arrows, they retrieve them for a second attempt.

Under the watchful eye of the officials, participants will have to excel in 5 challenges, 5 trials, for a single first place in each category.

Trollball
ANNEX G – TROLLBALL

Among the disciplines in the universe of Bicolline, Trollball is demanding, exhausting, and extremely spectacular.
Elevated to the status of a national sport in several provinces around the world, its athletes often become idols in their homeland. Will the gods of the stadium embrace their role as leaders to guide their nation to victory, or will they continue to blame the referees for their defeat?
The objective is to place the Troll’s head (ball) into a barrel (goal) as many times as possible without being struck down by the opposing Trollers (swordsmen). Healers, Trollers, or reserves, each player has a well-defined position within their team. The strategy? Strong team cohesion and a solid foundation in fencing are major assets to engage in this enchanting sport.
The competitive aspect of Trollball includes three leagues: the Mixed Duchy League, the Mixed Regular League, and the Women’s League.

REGISTRATION AND LOCATION
Anyone registered for the Battle of Bicolline can participate in this tournament.
Tuesday AM: Registration from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Monastery Plain;
Duration: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
GENERAL GUIDELINES
Whether they wear armor or not, fighters have one point of protection on each limb, in addition to the base life point. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for safety reasons.
All weapons under 152 cm (60 inches) are allowed. No throwing weapons.
Participants must have their own equipment.
All weapons must be approved.
Each player will be numbered, and the field will be divided into multiple lanes to ensure that at least 4 duels are taking place simultaneously.
Contact between the two weapons must be made to mark the start of the combat.
When a fighter wins their duel:
They remain in their lane and immediately face another opponent.
If they have lost armor or life points during the previous duel, those losses carry over to the next duel.
When a fighter loses their duel:
They present themselves to the marshal in charge of the points and provide two pieces of information:
The number of the winning player (the marshal adds 2 points to their record).
Their own number (the marshal adds 1 point to their record).
They join the queue to fight again as soon as a lane becomes available.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
It is the touch that counts, not the force.
Assist the referees by maintaining fair play and refraining from challenging their decisions.
The rules of combat are the same as those on the battlefield.
Cleated shoes are prohibited.
