The Grande Bataille de Bicolline is a success thanks to the ongoing involvement of its participant community. To ensure harmonious cohabitation on site, we must all make a collective effort to manage our own waste. Service points, common areas, and rest areas are not serviced by dedicated cleaning crews. Please always dispose of your waste in the bins and containers provided for this purpose and available throughout the site. Thank you for your cooperation.
To help maintain site cleanliness during the event, several waste containers are available starting from early arrival. They are located at the following locations: P1, 1540 / Faubourg, Cité, and near the washrooms in the non-decorum sector. A recycling container is also available at P1. Exact locations are indicated on the site map (refer to Figure 1). Whenever possible, we ask that you bring your waste to these containers yourself.
Please keep in mind that the Duché de Bicolline is not an ecocentre and that you must properly sort the materials you place in the containers. In particular, please do not include hazardous materials (propane cylinders, used oil, construction materials, etc.). These materials must be taken to an ecocentre:

Our volunteer teams also conduct three daily collections during the event (Monday through Saturday inclusive). They travel throughout the site using a decorum carriage, so specific collection times by neighborhood are not available. Listen for their arrival in your area. Participants are asked to place their bags directly into the carriage themselves.
All proceeds generated through the collection of refundable containers will be reinvested in the Clos des flos to improve facilities and equipment for our youth activities. Help us by separating refundable containers from your regular waste and, if possible, rinsing them and placing them in a transparent bag. No recycling collection is currently planned, although this matter is under evaluation.
We also ask for your cooperation to help prevent damage (bags, carriages, etc.) and injuries. Please:
Grey water and black water must not be discharged anywhere on the grounds of the Duché de Bicolline. The Duché de Bicolline is not equipped to manage participants’ grey water or black water.
To protect the environment and ensure the long-term sustainability of the site, you must take these materials with you when you leave and dispose of them safely at appropriate facilities:
