Decorum

Decorum

At Bicolline the golden rule to live the experience fully is that you must respect the decorum, which means to wear a medieval-fantasy inspired costume and avoid anachronisms such as watches, cell phones, plastic objects, cameras, chip bags, water bottles, liquor cans… Feel free to search the internet for costume and accessory ideas!

Medieval-Fantasy

Our event is medieval and fantasy themed, which leaves a lot of room for clothing inspiration. Starting from the Middle Ages, to the Renaissance, and up to the 17th century as well as fantasy inspirations such as Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc

To be avoided

The quality of the event and its immersion lies in details. Some elements should be avoided, such as:

  • Running shoes, it is better to find leather shoes
  • Jeans
  • Upside down or torn t-shirts
  • Sunglasses (unless they are prescription)
  • Watches
  • Cell phones and other electronic devices should be kept out of sight (leave them in your building, camp or car)
  • Carry a mug to avoid walking around with a can of beer, pop or juice box
  • Camouflage modern strollers with fabric

Remember that respecting and making an effort with your decorum allows all participants to be totally immersed in the unique world that is Bicolline and to feel truly transported elsewhere!
