TROLLBALL

Mixed league, women’s league, and friendly league

Trollball has been elevated to the status of a national sport in many provinces around the world, and its athletes often achieve idol status in their homeland. Will the gods of the stadium assume their leadership role in guiding their nation to victory or will they blame the referees again and again for their defeat?

Trollball is a demanding, exhausting and an extremely spectacular discipline in the Bicolline universe! Two teams compete for a Troll head with the objective to put it in the goal (barrel) as many times as they can. The players wield their swords to eliminate their opponents by touch. It is a tournament that brings together a crowd of supporters, fans and onlookers who come to encourage the teams.

ARTILLERY TOURNAMENT

Mixed League

War machines represent the pinnacle of human engineering. The greatest minds in the world are striving to design the invention that will eliminate the most people, the most efficiently. Will the artillery teams be able to make two deaths from one projectile? Or more?

This is the meeting place for engineers and groups with war machines, ballistas, trebuchets, catapults and cannons to compete in by shooting at different targets.

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS

Mixed League

The best fighters of the Duché have been competing for years for our great enjoyment.

One-on-one battles where fighters can choose between different types of weapons and can use a shield.

GLADIATOR TOURNAMENTS

Mixed league

The rules of this tournament are very simple: no finesse, no conventions or etiquette. Opponents fight each other, wielding their weapons of choice and trying to spill blood in the sand of the arena for the pleasure of the thrill-seeking crowds.

A tournament where fighters compete in teams of two in an arena with the weapons of their choice. These team duels are spectacular and require good coordination from the fighters.

FINES LAMES TOURNAMENT

Mixed and women’s league

Skilled swordsmen, fine fencers: this tournament is for you! Come and demonstrate your technical expertise by facing the best swordsmen of the duché! The competition is fierce and  the fighter who will be able to demonstrate their excellence will win the honors.

For a long time the handling of the 110 cm sword was the art of the most valorous warriors. It is the touch that counts! The winners of this tournament are welcomed as heroes and acclaimed as they pass.

THE WARRIOR’S ENDURANCE

Mixed League

Losing a duel is sometimes due to a simple wrong move, or a particularly vicious attack that you didn’t anticipate. For those who consider it unfair to bite the dust quickly with no possibility of redemption, you can participate in this spectacular tournament where you can get crippled again and again…

Bicolline is full of fighters and we’re looking for the toughest of them!

Warriors will have to duel in an arena. Fighters receive points for winning, but also for losing! A fighter must earn as many points as possible during the entire tournament.

ARCHERY TOURNAMENT

Mixed League – Circle of Loren

Famous in the lands of Bicolline, this strange competition, born of ancient Elven traditions, pits two opponents against each other in a merciless duel, armed only with their bows and their questionable survival instincts.

The Circle of Loren is a tournament where two archers face each other around a circle and the first archer to score two hits wins the match.

DUCHÉ’S FREE ARCHERS

Accuracy, quick decision making, and speed of execution on a fixed target will be the 3 criteria evaluated to determine the most skilled shooters. These 3 skills will be simultaneously put to the test in an epic duel to ultimately proclaim the greatest Franc Archer of the Duché!

The fixed target tournament evaluates three criteria deemed crucial by the Elves of Irendille in the practice of archery: Accuracy, quick decision making, and speed of execution.

TACTIKA CUP

Mixed league, minimum 3 women per team

The fight of the fights. The ultimate exercise of a group of 10 fighters armed to the teeth. In this tournament, guilds wishing to demonstrate their tactical prowess and determination on the battlefield are called upon to achieve numerous objectives in order to obtain the Tactika Cup.

Groups of 10 fighters armed to the teeth will show their tactical prowess and determination on the battlefield. A new formula for the battle of the fights which will be over 2 days.

ARCHERY COMBAT

Mixed League

A brand new discipline of team combat is emerging on our land. Arrows are flying everywhere. You have to be fast, precise and agile in order to stay alive until the end of the different rounds.

Your best archers will have to face their regional rivals in six-on-six skirmishes, while defending their flags. These archers’ battles take place in a defined area and are supervised in collaboration with the Montreal Archers’ Battle Team.

Special tournaments

CHESS TOURNAMENT

Are your strategies as effective on the chessboard as they are on the battlefield? Come and measure the finesse of your moves in this tournament where the greatest minds in the world of Bicolline duel.

GUARDIANS OF THE ARCHIVES

As the Great Plague subsides and travelers can once again spread rumors of the known world from city to city, the story surrounding the creation of the Grandes Archives is attracting the attention of many. Under the heraldry of the newly formed group the Guardians of the Archives, a grand project is finally underway to gather all knowledge, manuscripts, correspondence, artifacts, and art into a building of colossal proportions to be preserved for future generations for the benefit of all inhabitants of the Duché de Bicolline.

Regardless of their origins or affiliations, the Guardians of the Archives wear the colors and heraldry of absolute neutrality, collecting works to add to the vast knowledge already stored in the great Archives, all without any political, moral, or other agenda.

Attracted by rumors of a gathering of heroes with previously unknown and inaccessible knowledge, the curators of the Great Archives have announced that they will be coming to the great summer gathering in the lands of the Duché de Bicolline in order to hopefully meet with the heroes and to collect and transcribe notable documents from adventurers, scribes and collectors from the world of the Seahorse. Everyone is invited to come and meet the curators and wardens during the Grande Bataille celebrations and contribute to the Guardian’s historical documents by bringing them the notable documents in their possession!

It goes without saying that once its construction is complete, access to the contents of the Grandes Archives will be influenced by the quality of the contributions made by patrons to its vast collection of knowledge. The contributions of donors during the Grande Bataille celebrations will not go unnoticed and they could be granted privileged access at the official opening of the Grandes Archives.

SCHEDULE OF THE GUARDIANS OF THE ARCHIVES

Waste management

Waste management must be done on your campsites. It’s forbidden to accumulate garbage along the roads. There are two ways to get rid of your waste:

– A pick-up by carriage will be done at most camps, twice a day. When the carriage passes near your camp, please bring your bags of garbage to the carriage.

– Dumpsters will be available at the following three points:

1. At the 1540 Chemin Principal, near the coordination building
2. Across the street from the reception building at 1480 Chemin Principal, on the parking lot.
3. At the reception post of the non-decorum campsite

We ask you to bring your garbage yourself to one of these three points, especially if you are in an area that the carriage cannot access or if your camps are near one of these three points.

To bring your waste while remaining decorum, camouflage your garbage bags with fabric or burlap.

Medical staff are constantly present on site and are located right next to the reception building (1480 Chemin Principal).

There will also be service on a schedule near the orange and brown coordination building (1540 Chemin Principal) in Old Town (next to the main stage).

Be sure to bring your prescribed medication and avoid putting yourself in harm’s way.

While it’s important to have fun, please monitor your consumption of alcohol and be sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids throughout the day.

We also suggest that you bring along a first aid kit for minor accidents.
