What Happened

The heart of the Vieille Ville has burned down.

Since 1994, every summer in Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc, Bicolline comes to life. More than 6,000 passionate enthusiasts work together to build the largest medieval fantasy town in North America.

On the night of April 25, 2026, 22 buildings in the historic district—the oldest part of the town and the place where it all began—went up in smoke. Years of handcrafted armor, costumes perfected season after season, handmade weapons, and artifacts that embodied the very soul of the guilds.

The Bicolline organization, working hand in hand with its community, has no intention of letting the fire have the final say.

“The Rédemption camp was like a guild member in its own right. It evolved with us and was part of our identity. With every passing hour since Sunday morning, I realize just a little bit more what I’ve lost forever.”

— John-Sébastien Côté, La Rédemption guild (95 % of his possessions were lost)

Much More Than Just Wood and Nails

What was lost

· Years of armor crafted and customized by hand

· Gaming gear collected season after season

· Elaborate costumes perfected over the years

· Handcrafted weapons and rare, one-of-a-kind accessories

· Items embodying the identity and memories of entire guilds

· Manors, taverns, armories—places of shared community for decades

· Archives and historical symbols of 30 years of adventures

Some players had absolutely all of their gear stored here. Everything that gave them their existence in this universe was gone in a matter of hours.

Governance & Transparency

Every dollar goes where it’s needed

The funds raised are managed under a rigorous and independent framework to ensure that they are used exclusively for the reconstruction effort.

Two Independent Signatures

Every financial decision requires the approval of a Bicolline administrator and a representative of the impacted groups.

Management Committee

A representative from each affected building serves on the committee and oversees the use of funds.

Proceeds Exclusively for Reconstruction

100% of the funds raised will go directly toward rebuilding the structures destroyed on the night of April 25.

Regular Public Reports

Transparent updates will be posted here and on GoFundMe so that every donor can track the project’s progress.

Partners & Allies

Donate. Share. Spread the word.

Every share matters as much as a donation.

“We’re going to prove that the social structures created in our game—guilds, alliances, Honor—are strong enough to support a real-life reconstruction project worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.”

— Olivier Renard, founder and managing director
